Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the FlightsGlobe.com website (the "Site") or booking any travel services through us. By using this Site, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Our Role as an Independent Retailer

FlightsGlobe.com is a trading name of Flycations Ltd. We operate as an Independent Retailer (Travel Agent).

  • Agency Status: For most bookings, we act strictly as an agent for the "Principal" (the airline, hotel, or tour operator). Your contract for the actual travel service is directly with that Principal, and their own terms and conditions will apply.
  • Organiser Status: In specific cases where we combine multiple travel elements (e.g., flight + hotel) into a "Package," we may act as the "Organiser" under the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

2. Financial Protection (ATOL)

Your financial security is our priority. When you buy an ATOL-protected flight or flight-inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate detailing what is financially protected, where to get information, and who to contact if things go wrong.

FlightsGlobe, through Flycations Ltd, holds ATOL License 12238. We will provide an ATOL Certificate immediately upon payment for any flight-inclusive booking. If the services you book are not flight-inclusive, they may not be protected by the ATOL scheme—please check your booking confirmation for details.

3. Booking and Payments

  • Confirmation: A booking is only "confirmed" once we have issued a confirmation invoice or an ATOL Certificate. A website summary or automated email is not a guarantee of a final fare.
  • Price Fluctuations: Travel prices are live and subject to change by the Principal until the ticket is issued. We reserve the right to notify you of any price increases before final ticketing.
  • Non-Refundability: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, most discounted airfares are totally non-refundable and non-changeable once issued.

4. Cancellations and Amendments

  • Service Fees: If you request a change or cancellation to a confirmed booking, we will charge an administrative fee (typically £50 per person) in addition to any fees charged by the airline or supplier.
  • Name Changes: Airlines generally treat name changes as cancellations and re-bookings; ensure all names exactly match the traveler's passport at the time of booking.

5. Traveler Responsibilities

  • Documentation: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport (usually with 6 months' validity remaining), necessary visas, and required health/vaccination certificates for your destination.
  • Insurance: It is a condition of booking that you have adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and repatriation.

6. Liability and Force Majeure

  • Limited Liability: As an agent, we are not liable for any act or default of the Principal (e.g., airline bankruptcy or flight delays). Our maximum liability to you is limited to the total commission we received for your booking.
  • Force Majeure: We cannot accept liability or pay compensation for events beyond our control, including war, terrorism, natural disasters, or pandemics (including government-imposed travel restrictions).

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
